info

Silver Chang is an NYC-based visual artist and creative consultant whose work transcends the restrictions of genre and format to qualify her as a truly multidisciplinary storyteller. Shooting both analog and digital; contrasting intimacy with energy; shadow with light and the figurative with the abstract, Silver works across art, fashion and lifestyle to explore the new aesthetics of fusion culture. The convergence of these disparate styles makes for images that subtly yet incisively challenge photographic tropes. Beauty portraits are sculptural. Still lifes are rich with dynamism. Editorials are elegantly composed.

From Taipei, Taiwan, Silver arrived in New York City in 2019. And with a fresh angle on the world’s most photographed city, she quickly found that she was able to assimilate her style with the contemporary New York woman - directional, unbound, self-defining. That skill led Silver to work with the likes of Lancome, Burberry and MaxMara among many others, each time taking a measured approach to bold images that break the accepted formula. Each image deftly coaxes the viewer to a new perspective, establishing absorbing narratives and boldly redefining aesthetics with a sophisticated artist’s touch.
